“An Illinois witness reports low and high altitude UFOs”, “UFOs are being photographed over Mexico City”, “UFO sightings over Pennsylvania”, “In China, a video of a UFO outside of a plane is released”, “United Nations Appoints Astrophysicist as Official Alien Greeter”: these are just a handful of recent news releases dealing with UFOs. Worldwide sightings of UFOs are being reported almost on daily basis. Determining what is true or fake based on these news reports is not easy, let alone understanding what is really going on with UFOs and aliens.
Cosimo, an innovative publisher of classic and current books, believes that books, differently from snapshot news reports, can offer valuable background information, showcase many different theories, and present expert opinions. With this in mind, Cosimo has developed a microsite dedicated to the leading books on UFOs: UFOBookShelf.com. Some of the books presented are by its own authors, such as Left at East Gate: A First-Hand Account of the Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident by Larry Warren and Peter Robbins with a new introduction by Budd Hopkins, a pioneer UFO researcher; Crash at Corona, The Definitive Study of the Roswell Incident by Stanton Friedman and Don Berliner; Flying Saucers Over the White House: The Inside Story of Captain Edward J. Ruppelt and His Official U.S. Air Force Investigation of UFOs by Colin Bennett, and Celtic Mysteries: Windows to Another Dimension in America’s Northeast, by Philip Imbrogno. In addition, books by other leading UFO researchers, such as Flying Saucers and Science by Stanton Friedman and Edgar Mitchell, Area 51 by Annie Jacobsen, Strange Secrets, Real Government Files on the Unknown by Nick Redfern and Andy Roberts, and many more will be featured.
The aim of the site is to help those who are interested in UFOs to enrich their knowledge with the best books by the most informed authors. In addition to the featured books and their reviews, this site has many other features, all useful and interesting to those with a passion for ufology or curious about the truth of UFO news reports. There are links to some of the most popular UFO blogs and websites. There is a section dedicated to UFO conspiracies and major UFO incidents will be presented by well-known UFO bloggers and experts.
Based on many requests of its readers, UFOBookShelf.com has been selected to be the first of Cosimo’s specialized micro-sites which will feature books under the umbrella of one fascinating topic. Future micro-sites will include Middle Eastern literature, Civil War history, and reports on the current financial crisis. Stay tuned as we will announce additional micro-sites.

The Chicago Tribune’s Travel Section released an article a few days ago about the Roswell UFO Museum and the sights it has to offer. Founded on the basis of a real-life UFO sighting, the museum is rife with news clippings and first-hand accounts of encounters with aliens, dating back to 1947.
The museum is an ideal day-stop for family vacationers, and the location, open since 1991, gets more than 150,000 visitors a year. To explore the UFO phenomenon more closely and learn about the fascinating Roswell history, plan a trip down to New Mexico and check it out! You could even pick up a copy of Cosimo’s Crash at Corona while there and indulge in the secrets behind the Roswell cover-up.

The world we live in is pessimistic, filled to the brim with horror stories, bad people, and non-stop political and celebrity scandals. At least, that’s what the front page news would have many believe. If you’ve ever searched for an optimistic news source and come up empty-handed, or just longed for a positive news story, then OdeWire
may be the right news site for you.
Jurrian Kamp, author of Because People Matter and Small Change, has launched a new web site, built with innovative technology that will make it possible to read nothing but hopeful, positive news stories that shed light on the more positive side of today’s world. This innovative technology searches some of the top news websites including BBC , CNN , The New Zealand Herald, The Times of India, and The Toronto Globe and Mail, searching for keywords that would indicate any optimistically newsworthy story.
The more a news story overlaps with the topics on OdeWire the more likely it is to be published on the website.
For its creators, this website was a long time coming. From when they first approached Google with the idea, to when the inception became possible in a coffee shop in Silicon Valley, they held on to their hope that some day they could build a news source that promoted nothing by good news. And now the good news has been brought to you, with an easy to navigate and appealingly designed website.
